This is a simple tutorial to teach how to start to use the SVN Tortoise for MACRO projects.

Download SVN Tortoise

First, download the SVN Tortoise client here.

Starting to use

Getting Project repository

After download the SVN Tortoise, you need to get the repository of your MACRO project.

Fist, go SourceForge and log in with your credentials. Then go to your project site. This link contains all projects from MACRO.

Example:

If your project is the Popeye, go to Popeye or just click in the Popeye in the MACRO page.

Copy the Read/Write access line from svn.code until /code/.

In your computer, create a folder to hold the SVN repository. Click with the right button in the folder that you have created and then in the SVN Checkout. The paste the line that you have copy before in 'URL of repository'. Then click in 'OK'.
